The superbly designed Blitz intercoolers have been finely engineered to maximise cooling efficiency, minimise pressure drop, and reduce the chance of detonation. Pressurized air from the turbo is passed through the triple layer core allowing heat to dissipate into the cool ambient air that flows over the cores fins, this cools down the charge resulting in denser air entering the combustion chamber.
Blitz LM intercoolers are supplied as a kit with all the necessary pipework and bracketry needed to fit them (except Skyline GTR & Evo 9).
The pipe work supplied with the kit is mandrel bent to reduce intake resistance; this process also ensures that the diameter of the pipe work is not reduced where it curves. This results in maximum cooling capacity and efficiency whilst allowing for minimal pressure drop, the Blitz intercoolers are well known as being one of the most efficient with a pressure drop of only .05kg/cm2 at 1.2kg/cm2 of boost.
For a product of this quality you would expect to prices to be high, but Blitz intercoolers are probably the best value for money intercooler kits on the market today.
