With high power goals, forced induction, a compression ratio of 11.6:1 on pump 99 octane fuel you would think I am playing a very dangerous game but the beautiful chemical methanol can help us our tremendously here.
We are huge fans of methanol injection and Adrian has been using it on his race cars for many years usually in a 50/50 mix with water to control inlet temperatures. If dropping inlet temperatures are your main concern we recommend a 50/50 mix of water and methanol as long as you have an ecu which can be tuned to remove fuel when the system is being injector as methanol is a fuel, without trimming some of your regular fuel you will run very rich and in fact lose power. If octane improvements are your main goal we recommend 100% methanol as it has an effective octane rating of at least 110, you certainly won't find anything that high down the petrol station! There are many more risks associated with running 100% methanol(highly flamable) over 50/50(not flammable on its own) and you should certainly go into it with your eyes open after doing some research. I am using a direct port injection kit meaning I have 1 jet in each inlet runner to get perfect fluid distribution to each cylinder, 1 jet pre throttle body for inlet temperature control and another one in the volute of the turbo to drop inlet temps further, improve compressor efficiency and well because why not?
You definitely do not need to go this mad, the usual install method is a single jet pre throttle body but if you can go mad, why not?

Initially I was using a 50/50 mixture of water and methanol but not quite seeing the ignition timing figures I wanted at the boost I was running so I switched up to 100% methanol which required a quick check over to make sure we have no leaks so I don't burst into flames and add an external tank vent so we don't get methanol fumes building up in the cabin. At 1 bar of boost I was seeing as much as 8 degrees more ignition timing with the methanol switched on vs switched off, this improved power tremendously and if I wasn't going hunting for all of the extra power I could have just added 4 degrees and seen a power increase with a huge safety margin but that's no fun is it? This is a development project and we are trying to find the limits after all!
